National Library of Israel expert Eyal Miller presents the National Library of Israel’s Historical Jewish Press project and website – the largest digital archive of Jewish newspapers and periodicals in the world. He offers a concise history of the project, a demonstration of this powerful tool and its relevance to different audiences – scholars, students, artists, journalists, genealogists, teachers and more.

About the speakers:

Eyal Miller is the Historical Jewish Press project manager & historic newspaper content expert at the National Library of Israel – where he has been leading other newspaper and periodical related projects and consulting to other institutions, archives and libraries on newspaper digitization and digital archiving. Eyal has also published several articles on these topics.
