Scotland is enjoying a poetic renaissance with a new generation of poets including Michael Pedersen, Hannah Lavery & William Letford, interested in multiples, in complexity, in identity, whose words words you can witness in this special evening.


Scotland has poetry running through its veins. Come and enjoy the witty, wonderful worlds of Michael Pedersen (prize-winning author of Boy Friends), Hannah Lavery (poet, playwright & Edinburgh Makar, writer of The Drift and Blood Salt Spring) and William (Billy) Letford (author of Dirt and From our own fire) Their unforgettable poetry will linger like the finish of a good malt…

Booking Fees

A booking fee of 10% will be applied in your basket, with a maximum charge of £5.00 per transaction. Kings Place Friends are exempt from all booking fees.

Why do booking fees apply?
Booking fees (per order, not per ticket) covers our Box Office administrative costs so that Kings Place Music Foundation, the charity set up to run the music spaces at Kings Place, can continue to support our programme, artists and learning and participation work.

A limited number of £8.50 tickets for attendees aged under 30 are available for this show. To purchase an 'Under 30s' ticket, please choose the 'Under 30s' price type when selecting your ticket(s). If the option does not appear, this means all 'Under 30s' tickets have sold out. Please note that proof of age may be requested at the venue. The £8.50 offer does not apply to premium price categories.
