His one-man show Rock‘n’Roll Politics is a regular event at Kings Place and the Edinburgh Festival. He has presented BBC series on Tony Blair, Gordon Brown and David Cameron. His latest series for the BBC, Reflections on Leadership, took the form of six ad-libbed talks on modern Prime Ministers and is available on the BBC iPlayer. His latest book The Rise of the Outsiders was published in June 2017.
