He has presented BBC series on Tony Blair, Gordon Brown and David Cameron. His latest series for the BBC, Reflections on Leadership, took the form of six ad-libbed talks on modern Prime Ministers and is available on the BBC iPlayer. His latest book The Rise of the Outsiders was published in June 2017.
