Join actor and executive producer Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Game of Thrones), writer and director Joe Derrick, executive producer Emily Feller and sound designer and composer Benbrick for a special live session which unpacks the creative process of the hit scripted podcast, RADIOMAN.
Inspired by a true story, RADIOMAN is a thrilling ten-part Audible drama series that questions whether you can ever really know anyone.
Set in the fictional Yorkshire town of Tanford, Coster-Waldau plays Chas Vincent Jones, a true-crime podcaster on the trail of a serial killer, when his community is plagued by a series of murders. As he embarks on a vigilante mission to investigate the local crimes alongside old friend DCI Ian Whittaker, played by David Morrisey (The Walking Dead), Chas grapples with betrayal, deceit, long-buried secrets from the past resurfacing and mounting pressure to solve gruesome murders, while going viral on social media.
Featuring a dazzling original score and immersive sound design by Peabody award-winning Benbrick (Have You Heard George’s Podcast?), and an impressive cast including David Morrissey, Divian Ladwa (Ant-Man) and Cathy Tyson (Help) alongside Coster-Waldau, the story is told through a complex layer of characters intertwined with a murder mystery, packing in intrigue, twists, red herrings, and flashbacks with real-life news across 10, tense half-hour episodes.
RADIOMAN was inspired by the compelling true story of Dimiter Kenarov, who told the story of his own reporting of a serial killer in Bulgaria in the article, “Mask of Sanity”, and the series has been described by critics as “a “Strikingly ambitious drama that rewards immersion” (The Observer), which stands out for its incredible sound design, with The Week saying; “The sound is superb: multi-layered and immersive without ever being intrusive.”
RADIOMAN is written and directed by Joe Derick (Against The Ice) and co-created with Costar-Waldau. The series is produced by Emily Feller (Leonardo, Medici) and Frank Spotnitz (The X-Files, Leonardo, The Man in the High Castle) at Big Light Productions, Coster-Waldau and Derrick at Ill Kippers Productions, alongside Vespucci Group, who sourced the original story, for Audible Originals.
