Reel Herstory: The Real Story of Reel Women (Alley Acker, 2014) is a documentary hosted by Jodie Foster which uses rare footage and exclusive interviews with filmmakers and corrects the notion that women have been peripheral in film history and restores them to their pioneering status.
The screening will be introduced by film critic and broadcaster, Anna Smith and independent scholar, Dr Tuna Erdem.
Please note, the start time has changed and the event now starts at 6.30pm.
Anna Smith is a film critic, broadcaster and Chair of the London Film Critics’ Circle.
