Social media can be the most efficient and effective way to get and keep more listeners to your podcast. It can also be the most infuriating and expensive.
Join Kat Molesworth and Faraz Osman as they hack the algorithms and spill the secrets of success on socials.
Kat has been creating content online since the last century. She has worked on campaigns as an influencer and consultant since 2007 and founded the social media conference Blogtacular as well as producing the International Women’s Podcast Festival. Kat is a classic self-taught DIY creative, turning her hand to photography, videography, sound and editing – if Adobe have a program for it, she’s done it. Kat works freelance and most recently has been helping podcasts develop their launch plans.
Faraz is the Founder and MD of production company Gold Wala, with credits including What’s In Your Bag? (CBeebies), Fresh To Death (BBC Sounds), What The 80’s Sounds Like (Channel 4), My Mate’s A Muslim (BBC Three), short drama Listen, Dad (CBBC), and Yo! MTV Raps: Streets.
Faraz is also the chair of the BAFTA Children’s and Young People Committee, a regular columnist for Broadcast Magazine and commentator for the Media Podcast.
