Storytelling: Antoine Saint-Exupéry’s The Little Prince

Pioneering storytellers Olga & Matthew return to Kings Place with their new show The Little Prince. Based on one of the world’s most beloved books, this treat suits grown-ups and children aged 8+.

In a spellbinding one-hour performance, Matthew Crampton tells his version of this famous tale by French writer Antoine Saint-Exupéry, while pianist Olga Jegunova improvises on classical themes to weave musical magic through the words.

Their unique fusion of words and music has delighted audiences with traditional tales such as The Firebird and Diana & Actaeon. Now Olga & Matthew bring this French classic to English language audiences.

The Little Prince has captivated generations since its publication in 1943. It is one of the world’s best-selling and most-translated books, yet its delicacy defies elaborate staging. Olga & Matthew’s approach succeeds by capturing the purity of personal storytelling.

The concert will be 60 minutes long, with no interval

Date & start time:Sun 23 Jan – 3pm
Venue:Hall Two
