Mohammad Gharipour is Associate Professor, School of Architecture and Planning at Morgan State University, Baltimore USA, and director and founding editor of the International Journal of Islamic Architecture. He has published nine books, including Contemporary Urban Landscapes in the Middle East.
Irving Finkel is Assistant Keeper of Ancient Mesopotamian script, languages and cultures at the British Museum. In the course of his work he discovered a cuneiform tablet that contained a flood narrative similar to the story of Noah’s ark in the Bible, described in his bestselling book The Ark Before Noah: Decoding the Story of the Flood. Dr Finkel specializes in ancient Mesopotamian medicine and magic and the history of board games throughout the world. He is the author of books for both adults and children.
