Talking Poverty – Challenging Inequality

London is a city of incredible opportunity, where ideas flourish and fortunes are made. But it is also a city of contrasts, where extreme wealth and severe poverty nestle side-by-side. It is a global city, in an unequal world. The final event of TEDxLondon 2017 will tackle this challenge head-on. The evening’s Guest Curator, Kevin Cahill, is former Chief Executive of Comic Relief (1997-2016), whose mission it is to drive positive change in the UK and around the world, through the power of entertainment.

Speakers will share their personal experiences of overcoming adversity and inspire the audience with innovative ideas and examples of action.
