Sometimes funny, sometimes creepy, The Society of Strange is a new improv podcast from the creators of the Olivier Award-winning Showstopper! The Improvised Musical.

At its inaugural podcast recording, The Society will spin tales of the macabre and uncanny out of audience suggestions, taking inspiration from the ‘weird tales’ movement of the 1920s–30s and paying homage to disturbing fiction old and new – HP Lovecraft, Edgar Allen Poe, Stephen King, The Twilight Zone, Tales of the Unexpected, Black Mirror and many others.
