Klezmer is the soulful and celebratory folk music of east European Jews and a hugely enjoyable fiddle-led tradition.
Ilana Cravitz is a violinist specialising in authentic performance of klezmer and baroque repertoire and is one of a handful of professional violinists in the UK playing klezmer music in the traditional style – and she is also leading a workshop in this exciting music later this afternoon.
