Sibelius & David Matthews: Inner Voices

An opportunity to hear famous and rare pieces by the master symphonist, Jean Sibelius alongside works by contemporary British symphonist, David Matthews, who, like Sibelius, has completed seven abstract symphonies. Both composers have written works in many genres and this wonderful series allows explorations of their many and varied achievements. A study day offers the chance to dive into the detail of the lives and work of both composers guided by a panel of experts. All are welcome, from the curious novice right though to the seasoned enthusiast.
