Feature
Community Spotlights are a celebration of the vibrant cultural landscape that Kings Place is part of. Highlighting organisations, events and initiatives in King’s Cross and the surrounding area, we’re helping you make the most of your visit to Kings Place while supporting the local community.
In this feature, the spotlight falls on Kings Cross Summer Sounds 2024.
Summer Sounds is a free annual festival that takes place in King’s Cross’s Coal Drops Yard in August. This year’s programme runs from the 15th to the 26th for 12 vibrant days of music and dance.
With an emphasis on local talent and businesses, Summer Sounds is the place to celebrate the community spirit at the heart of Kings Cross. Audiences gather in to enjoy electrifying performances from a diverse lineup of artists and musicians from all walks of life, all programmed by local partners – including Kings Place!
Amidst a stellar lineup curated by organisations including Voices Radio, Lafayette, Queer Britain, and the Aga Khan Centre, Kings Place presents two spectacular musical performances from the finest in folk and classical.
