Earth Unwrapped Opening Weekend
Feature
Kings Place turns its focus to Earth for our 2025 award-winning Unwrapped series, bringing artists together to explore our wounded planet and how collectively we can seek healing. Artistic Director, Sam McShane, gives us a day-by-day breakdown of the opening weekend – including Terry Riley’s Sun Rings, Jason Singh, and Stephen Fry with Manchester Camerata – a guaranteed ‘perfect antidote to the January blues!’

DAY FOUR Sun 19 Jan
Hall One: Imagine a performance that is inspired by the idea of a community gathering, a service of sorts, to celebrate and discuss Bach’s music and its relationship to our Earth with a group of world-class musicians and speakers – that’s what OAE’s Bach, the Universe and Everything is.
Three Key Words: Uplifting – Inspiring – Community
