|Haydn||Piano Trio in E flat, Hob.XV:29|
|Schumann||Piano Trio No. 3 in G minor, Op. 110|
|Mendelssohn||Piano Trio No. 2 in C minor, Op. 66|
The Aquinas Trio complete their survey of Schumann piano trios with a wide-ranging programme that couples his late, third trio with a late Haydn work published in London in 1797.
The programme also includes Anthony Payne’s Trio from 1998, and Mendelssohn’s ever-popular and dramatic C minor Piano Trio completes the concert.
