Sergiu Hudrea & Hannah Clark | Pavel Ralev

IGF Aspire Platform:
Duo Sergiu Hudrea, guitar and Hannah Clark, flute

Hannah Clark and Sergiu Hudrea started their collaboration in 2019 at the Royal Academy with the common goal of sharing flute and guitar music with a wider audience, taking particular interest in exploring repertoire that is not commonly played. Despite the pandemic, they have continued to make music together remotely from their homes in the UK and Romania in the form of online recordings and videos. Since returning to London they are very glad to begin performing live again. They will interpret a very colorful and diverse collection of miniatures composed by Stephen Goss.

Programme includes: From Honey to Ashes by Stephen Goss (UK, b.1964).

IGF Young Artist Platform:
Pavel Ralev
Bulgarian guitarist Pavel Ralev studies at the Royal Academy of Music in London. He performs an eclectic range of repertoire from the Renaissance to the modern day, while looking ahead and collaborating with exciting contemporary musicians from the classical, jazz and electronica scenes, continuing in the spirit of bridging the gaps between tradition and the alternative.

Programme includes work by John Dowland, JS Bach and the first of a shared world premiere of Tree of Hundreds by young British composer Louise Drewitt, specially commissioned by IGF for YAP.
