IGF Young Artist Platform: Maryna Vosmirova and Kacper Dworniczak

IGF Guitar Summit

IGF YAP helps young musicians in the critical phase between the final stages of music education and the start of a professional career. The Platform provides much needed concert a well as a comprehensive training programme. A unique feature is the chance to work with a composer and premiere a new work commissioned especially by IGF.

IGF’s YAP aims to help young musicians in the critical phase between the final stages of music education and the concert platform. The programme provides much-needed performance opportunities and mentoring for young guitarists starting out in their careers, as well as the opportunity to work with a composer and premiere a new work.

IGF’s Young Artist Platform presents 2025-2026 awardee guitarist Maryna Vosmirova playing a concert with fellow guitarist Kacper Dworniczak.

Maryna, a classical guitarist, composer and arranger from Sumy, has appeared as a soloist at international festivals and is recognised for her work in chamber music and creative programming. Kacper studied at the Kunst Universitat Graz in Austria, in the guitar class of two distinguished professors: Paolo Pegoraro and Łukasz Kuropaczewski.

Both artists are students of the Royal Academy of Music and active performers across the UK and Europe.

Programme includes the world premiere of new IGF solo guitar commission Night Sky in a Stone by Freya Waley-Cohen and a new work by Martha-Maria Mitu, as well as works by Alexandre Tansman, Rogers and Hammerstein and Leo Brouwer.

Under 18s can attend this concert for free. Please book a free Under 18s ticket at the booking link.

This event will last approximately 50 minutes, without an interval.
