A special Mother’s Day concert given by the celebrated Phoenix Piano Trio, featuring Dvořák’s famous song Songs my Mother Taught Me with the soprano Michelle Todd, alongside two songs for voice and piano trio A Mirage and Stella Viatoris by American composer Amy Beach. To begin, the trio perform Haydn’s beautiful Trio No.42, almost certainly the last he composed, and to finish, Beethoven’s mighty Archduke Piano Trio.
