‘Leo is fast making a name for himself as one of the great young British conductors to watch.’ James Murphy, CEO, Royal Philharmonic Society
The award-winning young composer and conductor Leo Geyer showcases his most acclaimed works to celebrate the publication of his composition catalogue. With his close collaborators and wearing his Ringmaster’s hat, Geyer presents the opera-ballet Sideshows, hailed by The Opera Magazine as ‘anarchic fairground fun’. The second half will comprise of concert works featuring a premiere of new work alongside Guarea for solo violin, commissioned by Tate St Ives, and an aria from the opera The Mermaid of Zennor, described by The Times as ‘imaginative and beautifully shaped’.
