Acclaimed composer & clarinettist Mark Simpson is an Artist in Focus at Kings Place in 2021. Here he is joined by Leonard Elschenbroich (cello) and Richard Uttley (piano) for clarinet trios by Beethoven and Brahms. In between, we hear Simpson’s own, highly atmospheric Echoes & Embers.
