The LCMS and Kings Place debut of a new piano trio, the Odysseus Trio, formed by well-known and distinguished musicians. They perform one of Beethoven’s early trios and the Three Nocturnes by the Swiss-American composer Ernest Bloch, composed in the 1920s. Their programme finishes with Mendelsson’s ever-popular D minor trio, a lyrical and passionate cornerstone of the Romantic repertoire.
