Have you ever really wanted to get to know great music, to find out why it moves you in such unique and fundamental ways? If so, join the OAE to explore the mind of Johann Sebastian Bach, a composer who married a complete mastery of technique with an indefinable spiritual dimension.

This is no ordinary concert. From the moment you buy a ticket, you’ll join a community discovering what makes Bach so special through a series of activities including talks, social events and pop-up performances to enjoy in the months leading up to the concert. The conversations you have will even inform the performance itself.

Then enjoy complete performances of two of Bach’s landmark orchestral suites, which embrace French dance forms, Italian virtuosity and Germanic traditions. The eclecticism is outstanding – here was truly a lateral mind at work.
