After their recent foray into gypsy music with the Baroque Bohemians project, Red Priest return to their roots with a programme of Baroque classics, arranged and performed with the quartet’s trademark energy, virtuosity and a touch of Baroque-style madness.

Baroque violinist Conor Gricmanis and Viola da gamba player Sarah Small perform virtuosic early Italian pieces by Castello and Fontana alongside Simpson’s Divisions upon a Ground. The final piece is an exciting arrangement combining Marais and Corelli’s sonatas on the theme of La Folia.
