Leeds-born sitarist Jasdeep Singh Degun is one of Britain’s leading voices in the Indian Classical tradition. His music complements the ancient traditions of ragas with contemporary compositional techniques to create sparklingly cinematic music for sitar and strings. Scottish Ensemble spin a musical tale featuring music from Jasdeep’s Anomaly album, Western classical string repertoire, and the London premiere of a new work by Jasdeep.
