Robin Bigwood returns to Hall One for a morning of Bach harpsichord partitas, some of the most marvellous keyboard music ever written.

The six harpsichord partitas are probably the best and certainly the most technically demanding of Bach’s many works for keyboard. Free ranging in structure, each Partita opens with a prelude followed by a series of dance movements containing some of the most marvellous keyboard music ever written.

Robin Bigwood has a seemingly limitless technical mastery of all keyboard instruments and is equally at home on harpsichords, church organs or Moog synthesisers.

The performance will last approximately 2 hours, including an interval.
