Bulgarian guitarist Pavel Ralev is becoming well-known for his refined technique and intuitive approach. He was a scholarship student at the Royal Academy of Music and completed a master’s degree at the University of Surrey.

Pavel has won a number of prizes from international competitions, including 1st prizes at Zagreb Guitar Competition (2021), Plovdiv GuitArt Festival, Pleven Guitar Festival (2019), as well as the Prix Savarez for best performance of music by J. S. Bach at the 2020 Koblenz Guitar Competition. 2020 saw him virtually tour European guitar festivals as a EuroStrings Artist and he made his Kings Place debut on IGF’s Young Artist Platform. He will perform a varied programme of music from the Renaissance to the modern day, including Louise Drewett’s Tree of Hundreds, commissioned by the IGF in 2020.

Guitarist Alexander Hart is an alumnus of the Royal Academy of Music and Royal College of Music supported by the Blyth Watson trust. A finalist of a number of international competitions including London International Guitar Competition and the Manuel Barrueco Prize, his beginnings were as a blues and session guitarist and this he brings into his programming with crossover music with singer Alex Sesenton. Alex is currently working with celebrated British composer Joseph Phibbs and the Audentia ensemble commissioning a new guitar concerto.
