Groundbreaking composer and performer Zoë Keating creates a universe of music with a cello, a laptop computer and her own boundless imagination.

Canadian-born Keating worked extensively in the tech industry while performing at night with various rock bands, eventually combining her formidable musical and technological skills into a visionary hybrid in which layers of cello are combined to form deeply evocative webs of melody and harmony. She has collaborated with a gamut of artists including Thomas Dolby, Pomplamoose, DJ Shadow, Dan Hicks, and Curt Smith of Tears For Fears, and worked extensively for film, television and radio, contributing to the soundtrack of hit show Breaking Bad.
