13 years later the podcast has racked up over 25 million downloads, won three Canadian Comedy Awards, and featured guests such as Paul F. Tompkins, Brent Butt, and John Hodgman. The show is known for its ‘Overheard’ segment, in which guests and listeners share hilarious conversations they have overheard.
In 2010, Stop Podcasting Yourself became the first and only Canadian show to join the Maximum Fun podcast network. It has been recorded live at festivals in Seattle, Los Angeles, Chicago, Montreal, and Toronto.
In 2016, Clark and Shumka started Our Debut Album, a monthly show where the two comedians have one hour to write a serious song. The results were hilarious and embarrassing.
In addition to their podcasting live comedy work, Clark is a mainstay at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and a producer of CBC Radio 1’s The Debaters, and Shumka is the head writer of the true crime parody podcast, This Sounds Serious.
