Nani Vazana sings Ladino

Breathing new life into the ancient Spanish-Jewish language, singer, composer, trombonist and pianist Nani creates a bridge between the past and future with socially relevant lyrics celebrating migration, gender, and female empowerment. Nani performs songs from both albums 'Ke Haber' and 'Andalusian Brew' for this special performance.

Rokia Koné is one of Mali’s most beloved artists and a member of supergroup Les Amazones d’Afrique. Her debut album in collaboration with Jacknife Lee (U2, Taylor Swift) earned her widespread acclaim. She makes her Kings Place debut, as part of Songlines Encounters Festival.

Singer-songwriter Bayir’s music is a mixture of original compositions and folk songs of Anatolian heritage. Drawing from her Kurdish Anatolian roots, she sings songs of her past with a contemporary twist, reflecting her multicultural and multilingual background.
