You Said You’d Hold My Hand Through The Fire is an album that serves as a personal diary of Iceboy Violet’s breakup. Narrated chronologically, starting with the breakup, the separation and immediate feelings, trying to process and reflect positively, and ending with the ecstatic but ominous new spark of love.
The live show will consist of interpretations of the tracks from the album, expanded and manipulated by Nueen with improvised parts in between, unreleased tracks and noisy elements. Iceboy Violet rapping with processed vocal effects, performing on a stage in the middle of the audience.
This event is intended for audiences aged 16+.

Iceboy Violet (they / them)
Iceboy’s work searches for personal and collective catharsis. Emotive vocal based performance, using physicality as a point of connection. Drawing from raw experimental club music, tinges of warped pop abstraction, rap and performance art.
Nueen
Nueen aka Nacho Pezzati, is a composer raised in Mallorca and based in Barcelona. His sound drifts through a luminescent and recurring warm atmosphere, endlessly fluidic and delicate pads, recombining rhythms where multiple temporalities are juxtaposed. Over the years, Nueen has developed a highly personal style –profoundly intimate yet immediately giving onto distant space-times. His dub-ambient embroiled sound has been released on labels such as 3XL, Good Morning Tapes, Quiet Time, Balmat and APPX:.
