LACF Kids 2019 – Celebrate A Cappella!
For its 10th anniversary, the London A Cappella Festival is embracing and celebrating the inclusive spirit of the a cappella community. Families are invited to join the London A Cappella Festival Kids day on Saturday 26 January, with a jam-packed schedule of activities for aspiring young singers, celebrating all things a cappella!
Kick off your day with an invigorating workshop from vocal expert Rachel Staunton of London Youth Choir, where families will learn a cappella music from around the world, and perform it at the end!
After lunch, experience a mind-boggling matinee performance from America’s national a cappella champions Vocal Rush – not to be missed!
Then finish your day with a fun-filled workshop with Lisa Forkish of Vocal Rush, where you’ll learn a new arrangement and empower yourselves through the art of song (ages 8-11).
All this and FREE foyer performances throughout the day from children’s choirs and family-friendly groups.
Children attending the two workshops (Rachel Staunton and Lisa Forking) will need to be accompanied by a parent/guardian for safeguarding purposes. This in included in the ticket price.
Adults accompanying children to the Vocal Rush matinee performance are required to purchase their own ticket, as well as the child ticket.
