Our Halloween Piano Party is packed with spooky sounds and close‑up piano action. Featuring music for two pianos, this performance brings your little ones closer to the music.


Expect Halloween favourites including Saint‑Saëns’ crackling Danse Macabre, Mussorgsky’s vivid Pictures at an Exhibition, and the thunderous Night on Bald Mountain, alongside music from spooky film favourites.

Lively, atmospheric and great fun for all ages, this concert is designed to be enjoyed together, whether you love classical music, film music, or just a good Halloween celebration.

Costumes are strongly encouraged, so come dressed to impress, fright or delight, and join us for a Halloween Piano Party to remember.

This event will last for approximately 45 minutes with no interval.

Kings Place Concessions Tickets

We want to ensure that people who may be struggling financially to purchase a ticket can still enjoy visiting Kings Place. A limited number of tickets are allocated for certain events (if the ticket type does not show in the booking pathway, it means they are not available for this event or have all been sold). £10 ‘Under 30s’ tickets

A limited number of £10 tickets are available for certain shows to attendees aged under 30. To access Under 30s tickets, your account needs to be updated with your Date of Birth. Please visit the account centre to add your Date of Birth and go to ‘Other Preferences’ to opt in to the Under 30s Scheme.

If £10 tickets are available, the ticket discount will apply automatically at checkout. If the discount does not apply, this means all ‘Under 30s’ tickets have sold out for the performance.

Please note that proof of age may be requested at the venue.

Kings Place is situated just a few minutes’ walk from King’s Cross and St Pancras stations, one of the most connected locations in London and now the biggest transport hub in Europe.

The Venue 
Our performance spaces are situated on the lower ground floor. Hall One, Hall Two and St Pancras are located in level -2, reached by stairs, escalator and lift from the ground floor entrance level.

Event Times 
Door times indicate auditorium entrance times only. Visitors are welcome to enjoy the Kings Place seating areas, gallery-level art, canal-side terrace, café, restaurant and bar throughout the day and evening.

  • Our events begin promptly at the advertised start time. Typically, there is no support unless otherwise stated.
  • We recommend arriving in good time before the performance. The Hall doors will open 30 minutes before the performance to allow time to take your seats, or to choose a space for standing shows.
  • Latecomers will be admitted at a suitable break in the performance where possible

Rotunda Bar & Restaurant
Rotunda, situated on the ground floor of Kings Place, offers a unique dining and drinking experience alongside Regent’s Canal. The concert bar in the venue foyer will also be open for select events.

Green & Fortune Café
Recently re-furbished and now open with a new look, the Green & Fortune Café is open for selected concerts. Serving hot and cold food and drinks, including sandwiches, salads, soup, stew and a pie of the day, alongside a choice of cakes made by the on-site bakery team. About Keelan Carew

Pianist and broadcaster Keelan Carew balances the piano with a broad interest in classical music education. Born and raised in Medway, Kent, Keelan studied at the RNCM with Dr Stephen Savage.

He made his concerto debut in 2018, performing Rachmaninoff’s Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini in Southampton.

From 2021 to 2024, Keelan led outreach at the Yehudi Menuhin School. He is the Founding Artistic Director of the Rainham Piano Festival.

While a student, Keelan competed on the BBC’s University Challenge. This led to presenting work with BBC Radio 3, including the series Sounds Connected, coverage of the BBC Proms, and the 2022 series Piano Odyssey with Keelan Carew.

Throughout 2023, he regularly contributed to In Tune alongside Sean Rafferty and Katie Derham. Keelan is a regular guest on Radio 4’s Add to Playlist and has also appeared on This Classical Life.

Keelan now divides his time between teaching, performing, broadcasting, presenting, and producing accessible concerts for young people across the UK.

About Madeleine Brown

Described as having ‘the potential to become a major voice in the classical music world’ (Peter Donohoe CBE), Madeleine Brown is establishing herself as one of the most exciting young pianists of her generation.

Having graduated with a BA in Music from Trinity College, Cambridge, she is now studying with Kathryn Stott at the Royal Northern College of Music, with whom she recently appeared on BBC Radio 3’s In Tune. In 2025, she won the college’s prestigious Gold Medal Competition and was recently awarded the RNCM Silver Medal by the Worshipful Company of Musicians, adding her to the Company’s acclaimed Young Artist Programme.

Madeleine has previously studied with esteemed pedagogues including Helen Krizos, Charles Owen and Dina Parakhina, and is very grateful to receive coaching from Stephen Kovacevich, Zlata Chochieva and Muza Rubackytė.

Madeleine has performed to international acclaim, receiving first prize at the Bromsgrove International Musicians’ Competition and an Honourable Mention at the 2025 International Piano Competition ‘Ciudad de Vigo’. She has already gained extensive experience working with orchestras and was awarded first prize in both the RNCM and Cambridge University Concerto Competitions. Madeleine has performed in esteemed venues including Wigmore Hall, Steinway Hall, Kings Place, St James’s Sussex Gardens, Stoller Hall, the Lansdowne Club, West Road Concert Hall, the Penderecki European Centre for Music, the Schumannhaus in Bonn and the Bechstein Centre in Cologne.

In 2026, Madeleine makes her debut at the Ryedale Festival as a Waverley Young Artist, alongside performances for Leeds Lunchtime Concerts and the Sunday Piano Series at the Royal Concert Hall, Nottingham. Madeleine has received masterclass tuition from several renowned pianists including Sir Stephen Hough, Richard Goode, Philippe Cassard and Leon McCawley.

Madeleine is generously supported by the Robert Turnbull Piano Foundation and the Drake Calleja Trust.
