We invite you to step over the Kings Place threshold to experience a bespoke one-to-one performance with vocalist Cherise.

Have you missed the tingle of a live performance? Experience bespoke one-to-one performances by leading musicians in a safe environment. Individuals or groups of up to six people can share their personal lockdown story or mood with one of the guest artists who will prescribe a piece of music or a literary response.

Vocalist Cherise has had an incredibly successful career to date, winning Vocalist of the Year at the Jazz FM Awards in 2019, and performing at the Jazz Voice opening gala for the EFG London Jazz Festival alongside Corinne Bailey Rae and Cécile McLorin Salvant. In 2019 she also released her debut EP Paradise to great acclaim. Since graduating from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music in late 2017, Cherise has been invited to perform at many of the UK’s most prestigious venues and festivals ranging from the BBC Proms at The Royal Albert Hall and the Kennedy Centre in Washington D.C to Festival performances including the UKs Love Supreme Jazz Festival.

When asked about her approach as an artist and music, Cherise described her goal as… ‘To celebrate and draw from all the musical styles that I love without being defined strictly by any particular Genre…. to bring something fresh!’

Tickets are free but donations welcome to help support our programme and artists.

Families, and multiple members of households or bubbles can join one booking, up to 6 people.
