Thomas Gould is no ordinary violinist: he’s a concerto soloist, orchestra leader, swing-band player and jazz improviser. He’s recently launched a new series at Kings Place, Gould Standard, featuring his jazz heroes, from Gwilym Simcock to Kristjan Randalu. He combines classical and jazz repertoire, with an impressive array of improvisation.

This year, Kings Place ventures outside into our spectacularly-transformed local area. Join us this summer as a handful of our favourite artists take to the first ever ‘Kings Place Presents…’ stage at Cubitt Sessions – a free, electrifying live music programme at Lewis Cubitt Square, King’s Cross running from 26 July – 14 Aug.
