Tom Farmer double bass
Shaney Forbes drums
Lewis Wright vibraphone
Nathaniel Facey alto saxophone

Multi award-winning quartet Empirical, featuring Nathaniel Facey (alto sax), Tom Farmer (double bass), Lewis Wright (vibraphone) and Shaney Forbes (drums), launch their latest EP release entitled ‘Like Lambs’ at this special Kings Place show.

Featuring three unconventional long-form pieces by drummer Shaney Forbes, Like Lambs once again demonstrates Empirical’s knack for creating risk-taking original music and showcases their masterful ability to inhabit contrasting emotional states in their playing.

Tonight’s show will follow a string of performances at Empirical’s Pop-up Jazz Lounge at Bath Festival (13 – 18 May 2022), so audience members can expect the band to be at the top of their game.
