Symphonic Piano is a new three-part series exploring some of the greatest works of orchestral music through the power of two pianos and four hands.

Charles Owen and Katya Apekisheva begin the series with Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring in the composer’s original four-hand version. Duo Pleyel pair Beethoven’s Symphonies No. 5 and No. 6 reimagined for a single piano and arranged for four hands by Carl Czerny and Leeds International Piano Competition alumni Junyan Chen and Alim Beisembayev close the series with Rachmaninov’s Symphonic Dances.
