Due to COVID-19, it is with heavy hearts that we inform you that our artistic programme will be suspended until the advice changes. Read our full statement.
However, we’re delighted to say that Steve Richards will be broadcasting the event on Monday 27 July at 7pm. If you’d like to attend, please purchase a ticket from this page and our box office team will send you the link close to the event.

‘Hot Ticket’ New Statesman
Political commentator and broadcaster, Steve Richards, presents his latest behind-the-scenes guide to the epic dramas and the characters shaping seismic events. How have we got here? What’s going to happen next? Are there any answers to these questions? Come along and find out.
Due to the circumstances, this series of events has been transported from its usual home of Hall One at Kings Place to an online environment, broadcast live from Steve’s study room. In the first half, Steve will set the scene, delivering a fluent, unscripted and often amusing monologue on current affairs. During this time, you will be able to ask questions through the Vimeo chat functionality, or by Tweeting Steve @steverichards14. After a brief interval, part two offers more of a conversation, where Steve tries to answer as many of your questions as he can!
Worried about the technical side of things? Please refer to our ‘How to watch a video on Vimeo’ page. If you have any further questions, both our firstname.lastname@example.org inbox and Twitter account will be monitored during the broadcast.
