Technical Events Manager

Salary TBA, Negotiable with Experience 

Kings Place Music Foundation is looking to recruit a Technical Events Manager to direct the Technical Events team and Recording & Broadcast department. The role exists to oversee all logistical aspects of event production, including pre-event, event planning, scheduling and deliveries to ensure the smooth running of all Kings Place events.  As main KPMF point of contact for Kings Place Events (internal partner company who market and manage all of the commercial hire activity within the building), the Technical Events Manager is directly responsible for creatively consulting on production and logistics as well as collating information relating to all conferences and events at Kings Place, interpreting and realising clients’ visions to ensure events are delivered to the highest standards and within agreed budgets.

Duty Manager x 2 (Zero Hours Contract)

Hourly rate £11
 
Kings Place Music Foundation is looking to recruit two Duty Managers to work alongside the Visitor Services Manager – Front of House, Visitor Services Manager – Box Office, and other departments, to inspire the Visitor Services team to deliver a responsive, dynamic and vibrant visitor experience.
 
The position will involve event management of the Kings Place conference, event and performance programme.

Requirements:
2 years experience of management within a venue setting is essential 
Previous experience and relevant industry knowledge of working in a music environment is preferred
Experience of working with the public is essential 
Excellent communication skills 
Flexible approach to working hours 
Knowledge of Health and Safety issues relating to public places 
Proficient use of relevant IT packages

Casual roles
Kings Place Music Foundation is always looking to recruit casual staff to work across several areas within the organisation. Casual staff will be highly motivated individuals acting as ambassadors for Kings Place, with the relevant skills and experience to provide the highest quality visitor experience for artists and members of the public. Hours are allocated as required, but not guaranteed.

The areas we are looking to recruit staff in are: Front of House; Box Office; Stage Management; Technical; Portering
