Hosted in an intimate venue with world-class acoustics, Folk Union is a weekly series featuring a diverse programme of folk music from its core traditions to the cutting edge and beyond.

With BBC Radio 2 Folk Award winners through to emerging talent, the 40+ shows each year present artists from a huge range of musical backgrounds. Audiences can enjoy a rich artistic tapestry spanning the traditional UK & International scene, acoustic, singer-songwriters, Americana, country, bluegrass, roots and other related genres.

Folk Union highlights have included Chris Wood, Peggy Seeger, Martin Carthy, Dave Swarbrick, Martin Simpson, The Poozies, Breabach, Adem, Lau, Roddy Woomble, King Creosote & Jon Hopkins, Emily Barker, Kan, Lisa Knapp, Kris Drever, Roy Bailey & Tony Benn, Bella Hardy, Orlando Seale & The Swell, Sam Lee & Friends and many others, not to mention unannounced special guest appearances on the night.

Their second album, Wenlock Hill, sees a diverse range of songs with inspiration coming in many different forms.
