Two of Scotland’s award-winning ensembles join forces to present James MacMillan’s extraordinary setting – by turns intimate and dramatic – of the Resurrection story. Ahead of the evening concert, there will be a free performance in our foyer by St Mary’s Music School, a specialist music school based in Edinburgh.

Featuring the towering bass-baritone of Matthew Brook, Since it was the day of Preparation… uses chamber forces to make a hugely powerful impact.  This marks the second time that this ‘modern masterpiece’ will be presented in London since it was co-commissioned by Kings Place in 2012.

This event will last approximately 70 minutes, without an interval.
