The award-winning Linos Piano Trio return to the LCMS in an exciting programme exploring the ‘Song without Words’ genre made famous by Felix Mendelssohn. Further reflections on the theme by Prach Boondiskulchok, in the London premiere of his Piano Trio No. 2, are paired with Felix’s sister Fanny’s dramatic D minor Piano Trio. Their concert culminates in Beethoven’s famous Ghost trio, offering another perspective on music’s potent ability to conjure words and image.
The performance will last approximately 2hrs, including an interval.
