Children & Young People

Kings Place: Belong is committed to inspiring the next generation through meaningful music education and creative experiences. This strand focuses on building strong relationships with schools and young people across Islington, with particular focus on children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities. Through workshops, open rehearsals, digital resources and collaborative projects, we aim to make music more accessible, engaging and relevant, helping young people grow in confidence, curiosity and creativity.

THU 6 AUG – Music Education Islington Careers Day
We are hosting a Careers Day at Kings Place for a closed-group project delivered in partnership with Music Education Islington for young musicians. The day gives participants a behind-the-scenes insight into careers in live music and the arts, with opportunities to hear from artists and professionals, explore different roles in the sector, and gain a deeper understanding of how a major music venue operates in the heart of Central London.
