The celebrated Fitzwilliam Quartet perform a selection of works for quartet.

Hugo Wolf’s ebullient Italian Serenade, Rebecca Clarke’s single-movement quartet from the 1920s and Schubert’s quartet movement from an unfinished quartet to which Brian Newbould has projected its slow movement from the fragments Schubert left. They are then joined by pianist Anna Tilbrook in their concert’s culmination – Brahms’s masterly Piano Quintet in F minor.
