As a pre-concert event, Paul Hillier wanted to show Phie Ambo’s beautifully- filmed, award-winning documentary Good Things Await, about a biodynamic farm in northern Denmark, and its farmer. The sound track features music by Jóhann Jóhannsson performed by Theatre of Voices. It tells the story of the farmer’s difficulties with authorities unsympathetic to his philosophy, and also reveals his connection to Noma, the world-famous Copenhagen restaurant.

This film, showing links to the Hall One concert, which will begin with Songs from the Soil, an abstract meditation on the same farm by Phie Ambo, featuring the music of Arvo Pärt performed live.
