Songlines Encounters Festival returns for its ninth edition this summer. Do you know your kannel from your kora, your fado from your klezmer? Find out with our festival glossary.

‘This is the ninth year of Songlines Encounters Festival. We’re doing what we’ve always done – bring high-quality artists from around the world as championed by world music magazine Songlines to play in the superb environment of Kings Place.’
