An immersive sonic experience layering sound design, field recordings and live music. Soumik’s band blends with sounds of forests being razed and voices from marginalised communities around the globe,all pulsing with deep drones and harmonic tension. At the heart of it is Soumik’s sarod (a nineteen stringed lute), complemented by rich textures of carnatic violin, mridangam, and tabla beats.
