ChamberStudio
ChamberStudio provides year-round coaching and support for professional chamber musicians in the early stages of their careers. Our masterclasses are held in the studios and concert halls at Kings Place, our home and partner venue from the beginning.
We run four different programmes:
Mentorships
Groups build a tailor-made set of masterclasses with a chosen mentor. The masterclasses at Kings Place are open and free to observers. Details are regularly updated at chamberstudio.org/calendar
Visiting Professor Series
We invite eminent chamber musicians from outside the UK to visit London to work intensively over a period of two or three days with selected groups.
Residences
We offer three days of intensive rehearsal and coaching outside of London, normally at the beautiful house and grounds of West Dean, away from the normal distractions of busy freelance life.
Hall One Masterclasses
These are held once or twice a year and are given by world-renowned musicians.
Observers
ChamberStudio masterclasses are open to observers, giving chamber music lovers and aficionados the opportunity to see the detailed work that goes on in preparation for performance of the great chamber repertoire.
