In collaboration with our resident Aurora Orchestra, Kings Place presents imaginative, immersive events for local primary-school children, and children with special needs, in Camden and Islington.
Multi-sensory storytelling concerts, Far, Far Away, introduce the very young to classical music. Immersed workshops are built around Aurora’s unique memorised performances, where musicians perform without sheet music, stands or chairs. Children have the rare chance to experience music in the midst of the orchestra – up close to the musicians and instruments.
In December 2018, a special Christmas appeal raised a total of £7,238.84.
